Powder Coat Finishes
TGIC polyester powder coating is applied to cleaned parts after fabrication, and baked on to provide a decorative finish with good weather resistance and mechanical properties. Powder coating is available on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum doors and grilles. It is suitable for interior or exterior applications. Color may be selected from approximately 175 standard RAL color choices, other custom colors, or colors matched to a color sample. (Non-standard colors may not be available in TGIC polyester.)
Powder coat finishes can be applied to a complete door (curtain, bottom bar, guides, hood and brackets - excluding operating mechanisms) or selected components. On grilles, only the bottom bar, guides, hood and brackets can be powder coated.
NOTE: The PVC backslat on Model MI Insulated doors cannot be powder coated.
