Since 1925, Lawrence Roll-Up Doors, Inc. has been manufacturing steel and aluminum rolling door products in Los Angeles, California. We offer various duty-cycle rated doors and grilles to meet the needs and budgets of each building owner or tenant. Our “Heavy Duty” products are suitable for the most demanding conditions of heavy industrial settings, maximum-security environments, and high-frequency usage. Lawrence “Medium Duty” doors are our most popular products, value engineered for normal commercial applications. Our “Standard Duty” doors and grilles combine quality design and lighter weight construction to offer an economical product for the most cost conscious buyer. Decades of product design and manufacturing experience enable us to provide custom products to comply with special design and unique installation requirements.

Service Doors - the “basic” roll-up doors suitable for many applications - are also available as Weather-Edge Doors with perimeter weather seals, as Insulated Doors for maximum climate control, or as Ventilated Doors with perforated curtains for the ultimate blend of ventilation, visibility and security. Counter Service Doors with more compact components and attractive designs can be provided for smaller size openings.

Fire Doors offer state-of-the-art fire protection with "Easy-Reset" or "Auto-Reset" chain, crank and motor operators that automatically close the door without a loss of spring tension and eliminate the need for traditional mechanical re-set. Counter Fire Doors with more compact designs are available for smaller size openings. Both can be rated up to 4-hours and are available with an S-Label as air leakage rated Smoke Doors. Lawrence fire door products are classified by Underwriters Laboratories  (UL), certified for Canada (c-UL), FM Approved, and listed by the California State Fire Marshal (CSFM).

Grilles allow for maximum visibility and air circulation while providing area protection. They can be designed for typical shopping mall and storefront installations as well as for higher usage applications such as parking structures. Standard Lawrence features include a self-leveling bottom bar and field-adjustable curtain stop and lock bar heights. Counter Grilles combine the compact design and finished appearance of a counter service door with the ventilation and visibility of a grille for service counters and small entry openings.

Motor Operators provide the ultimate in efficiency and ease of operation. Lawrence motor operators combine a high efficiency in-line gear drive system with a low profile design that means no additional clearance above the top of the door coil is normally required. Most previously installed doors and grilles can also be converted to motor operation. Lawrence motor operators are UL Listed and are available with a variety of wiring and access control options and accessories.

Retrofit Fire Door Operators can be installed on most types and brands of existing roll-up fire doors to eliminate spring tension release and replace traditional operating and governor systems. When retrofitted, even older fire doors can be tested and reset easily, operating with the same reliability and extraordinary descent control characteristic of “Easy-Reset” and “Auto-Reset” fire door products.Retrofit chain, crank and motor operators are UL Labeled and FM Approved as Retrofit Rolling Steel Fire Door Operators.
